Los Angeles artist Aaron Kai gets his inspiration from his native Hawaii as well as his new home in the City of Angels. These running shoes represent the physical and spiritual worlds of the two places Kai calls home. These shoes were assembled at adidas' innovative SPEEDFACTORY facility in Atlanta and are releasing in L.A. Built with insight from L.A. runners, they're crafted specifically for the challenges of the city's urban streets. Responsive Boost cushioning and state-of-the-art glueless, fused bonding give you the most direct Boost comfort and energy return ever. They enable a steady and adaptive stride via the SPEEDFACTORY Torsion bar that floats in the outsole for optimal flexibility. The knit upper features tension patches for a digitally-crafted fit, and a connected eyestay gives you all-around stability. Each shoe has an embedded NFC chip in the tongue offering authentication and a unique digital experience.
